Chromafora, a company partially owned by Ragn-Sells, has been granted €22 million in loan from the EIB. With its SELPAXT technology, Chromafora is taking a leading role in addressing one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time: removing PFAS from contaminated water.
“This support is a mark of quality for Chromafora’s work on PFAS remediation and an important step towards scaling up the technology to make a real difference,” says Johan Seijmer, CEO of Chromafora.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) loan is seen as a recognition of Chromafora’s technology and business model.
“PFAS pose a significant threat to both the environment and human health. At Ragn-Sells, we are actively working to contribute to solutions for this critical issue. Chromafora’s progress is an essential part of this effort,” says Anders Kihl, Chairman of the Board at Chromafora and Head of Research and Development at Ragn-Sells.
With this funding, Chromafora can further develop its SELPAXT technology and begin rolling out treatment facilities across Europe.
