The environmental company Ragn-Sells' innovation subsidiary EasyMining continues to grow and elects Jan Åke Jonsson as new Chairman of the Board. The company recently reinforced its collaboration with the German utilities company Gelsenwasser and is now planning for further expansion into other markets.

EasyMining has in recent years grown as a company and today have several world patents for recycling of important nutrients, such as phosphorus, potassium and nitrogen. Now the company gear up even more by bringing in Jan Åke Jonsson, former CEO of SAAB Automobile.
— I have for a long time wished my next assignment would be in the environmental arena. So when this opportunity came up, I saw my chance to really get involved in these issues and put the knowledge I have accumulated over the years to good use. EasyMining is still in an early stage as a company and I hope that with my experience I can support their further expansion, says Jan Åke Jonsson, incoming Chairman of the Board of EasyMining.
In addition to the role of Chairman of the Board, Jan Åke Jonsson will also act as advisor in the development of the company going forward. EasyMining focus on circular solutions for the extraction of resources from waste streams and has been part of the Ragn-Sells Group since 2014.

On 1 October 2020, Jan Åke Jonsson will take over as Chairman of the Board of EasyMining.
