Ragn-Sells participates at IndTech2022 in Grenoble

The Swedish environmental company Ragn-Sells was invited to speak at the Industrial Technologies IndTech2022 conference in Grenoble, France, on 28 June. Ragn-Sells Director of Sustainability shared knowledge and good examples of how to fast track the circular transition.

- I am very grateful that Ragn-Sells have been given this opportunity to share our knowledge of how circular material flows will, and can, reduce the risk of overshooting any of the planetary boundaries. As well as our ability to achieve the ambitions set in the Paris agreement, says Pär Larshans, director of Sustainability at Ragn-Sells.

The European Conference on Industrial Technologies is a flagship event in the European agenda, organised every second year by the European Commission. This year’s conference, which also will be France's ending of the EU presidency, the focus is on industry’s dual green and digital transition.

- If we are serious about creating a sustainable society, we need to create long-term changes that will meet the need for different production systems, a regenerative use of resources, and supporting carbon neutrality objectives. Only then we can move away from a linear economy to a sustainable circular society, says Pär Larshans.

The conference is held between 27 to 29 June in Grenoble, France, and it is co-organised by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, and DG Research & Innovation of European Commission under the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in the world’s centre of scientific research – Grenoble.
